Marvel Reveals Major Change to Controversial Character in Captain America: Brave New World Trailer

Sabra, the Israeli super-soldier, to make her MCU debut

Marvel has confirmed a major change to a controversial character in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World film. Sabra, the alter ego of the Israeli superheroine Ruth Bat-Seraph, will make her Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut in the film.

Sabra is a mutant who serves as an agent to the Israeli secret service. She was created by writer Bill Mantlo and artist Sal Buscema in 1981 and has been a controversial character ever since. Some critics have accused Sabra of being a propaganda tool for the Israeli government, while others have praised her as a strong and independent female character.

In the Captain America: Brave New World trailer, Sabra is shown fighting alongside Captain America and the other Avengers. She is portrayed by actress Shira Haas, who is known for her roles in the films Unorthodox and The Zookeeper's Wife.

Marvel has not yet released any details about Sabra's role in the film, but her inclusion is sure to be a talking point among fans. The character has been a source of controversy for years, and her appearance in the MCU is likely to reignite the debate about her portrayal.
